Peter DeBellis – Practice Leader, Total Rewards and HR operations
Peter is an experienced professional with proven broad business leadership skills and deep expertise in: Compensation Program Strategy, Executive Compensation and overall HR Leadership. His experience includes: Global Compensation, HR Operations, Health Care Strategy, Total Rewards, Budgeting and Forecasting, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Internal Audits, Equity Administration and Global Mobility.
Peter has worked with organizations in a variety of sectors including: Investment Banking, Biotechnology, Compensation Management Consulting, Service Industry, Nonprofit and Private Business.
He has held positions including: VP of Human Resources/Compensation, Senior Director of Human Resources, Chief Financial Officer, and Lead Compensation Consultant.
He works with Senior Executives and Compensation Committees of the Boards of Directors, designing human capital strategy, implementing programs, and completing required filings. He partners with Senior Managers to set compensation strategies and manages all compensation functions, including: base salary planning, cash-based incentive programs, commission programs and equity programs including restricted stock, restricted stock units, stock options and other performance vesting vehicles.
Peter received his BS degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in New York. He was on the Dean’s List, received a Dean’s scholarship and was named one of two Alpern Award winners from his graduation class in recognition of his academic achievement and service to the university. While at Cornell, Peter also received the Mariani Entrepreneurship Award and accompanying grant for co-authoring the best business plan of the year to be submitted to Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
